I first discovered The Map(References) during the third week of the Let Yourself Glow Course.  Participants began the week with no money and were required to earn their keep by selling to people they had not met before.  There were fifteen people in the course and they were having a horrible time.  They were making occasional sales and terrorizing themselves trying.

I knew that sales, and personal interactions, didn’t have to be this difficult.  That is when I stumbled upon The Map.  It changed peoples’ entire experience of personal interaction, it converted it from fear to fun, from exhausting to enlivening and transformed occasional successes into abundance.  It did this by providing the participants with insights both into themselves and their interactions with others revealing exact locations on The Map and eliminating speculation and self sabotage so common in sales and stressful situations.

In a sales course called The Competitive Edge Fernando Flores said “sales is as close to life as you can get.”  Whether you are interested in sales or not the quality of your life has a lot to do with human interactions.  The Map reveals precious insights about angles of interaction, that free you, replacing fear and embarrassment with lightness and humor.

I have taught The Map to hundreds of people and always with the same sort of life enhancing results.  I invite you to join us in NYC June 4-6 at Embracing Being: The Map.  If you are interested in having deeper more intimate relationships with others, or if you would just like to learn about your own internal topography this course is for you.  If you would like to be able to sell just about anything to anybody anywhere anytime then you just have to come.  While you can use The Map to earn money in the marketplace it also works wonderfully in close personal relationships.

If you would like to enrich all your relationships, both with yourself and others then please join us at Embracing Being:  The Map

Embracing Being: The Map

NYC June 4-6, 2010

The Map returns you to a sense of power and ability.  It does this by allowing you to know exactly where you are and where you are going each moment.  While there is no way to eliminate paradox from the process of getting to know yourself, The Map reveals that between the poles of paradox is a playground where you can master the fun and delight of being truly yourself each moment.  This is done by dancing between dichotomies.

Dichotomies are composed of a pair of opposites.  Black and white is a dichotomy.  Good and bad, right and wrong, and win and lose are all dichotomies.  There is no difference between poles of a dichotomy but there seems to be.  We often get caught up trying to determine whether something is good or bad or better or worse or right or wrong:  this is an unsuccessful attempt to simplify the exploration of the world by dividing it into pieces.  When you do this you lose the sense of wholeness and connectedness so essential to both peace and prosperity.

Dancing between the poles of dichotomies enhances your flexibility and awareness.  They allow you to be satisfied independent of content, as you move through the different dichotomies you begin to sense a natural, organic flow to life making every aspect more fun and fruitful. Being present is the natural result of exploring The Map and Dancing with Dichotomies.
